Complete Pregnancy Book" by Sheila Kitzinger A wonderful and comprehensive
book about everything to do with pregnancy and birth. If you only by one general
book about pregnancy, this is the one! Sheila emphasises the normal process
of birth and informs couples on the myriad of options available to them in
different birth settings, as well as month by month descriptions of pregnancy,
nutrition, etc... "The
Natural Pregnancy Book" by Aviva Jill Romm Aviva Jill Romm is a respected
herbalist and midwife who simplifies using herbs safely during pregnancy, birth
and postpartum. She also explores pregnancy month by month, emotional dynamics
and includes a comprehensive list of common ailments and discomforts of pregnancy
and how to treat them naturally. "Gentle
Birth Choices" by A book about making choices in your pregnancy and birth
that are respectful, gentle and healthy for couples and babies. Waterbirth
is explored in detail with many studies and medical information to back up
its safety and effectiveness.
